Offspring, or crossbreed?
Both paths do the same thing — a new kverk carrying its parents’ weights — but they answer different questions. An offspring asks “what happens if I change this?”. A crossbreed asks “what comes out if I combine this and that?”.
The action row on a kverk’s detail has an Offspring button leading to /app/kverks/:id/offspring. You get the same thirty-element editor as the detailed birth path, because you are designing an animal, not patching an old one.

Course progress belongs to your account, not to your browser — a half-read chapter waits for you on the laptop and on the phone alike. Without an account nothing is saved.
The first chapter of every course is public. Chapters 2+ and the quizzes need a sign-in — still free.
