Going short — earning on a fall
You can make money when prices fall too. The mechanism sounds odd but is simple: you borrow a share from someone who owns it, sell it immediately at today’s price, and when it gets cheaper you buy it back and return it. The difference is your profit. This is called going short.
A short position is “negative”: the lower the price goes, the better you are doing. For a kverk it is a negative number on the pedal — the single output of its network.

Course progress belongs to your account, not to your browser — a half-read chapter waits for you on the laptop and on the phone alike. Without an account nothing is saved.
The first chapter of every course is public. Chapters 2+ and the quizzes need a sign-in — still free.
