Maturity and the plateau
Learning does not go on forever. At some point a learning run arrives after which the kverk’s behaviour barely changes, and then another, and another. A model in that state is said to have hit a plateau, and in KVERX the measure of that state is called maturity.
Maturity is not a grade and says nothing about quality. A kverk at 100 % maturity can be excellent or dreadful. Quality is what the Score and the Exam talk about, not maturity.
